Abortion law places party politics before women and children's lives

THEY vote with their feet. Perhaps in shame; perhaps in distress because their unborn foetus is unviable, maybe because their pregnancy poses a risk to their health or life or maybe because they are suicidal.

What the 12 or so women who travel to the UK and elsewhere every day share is that they vote in silence.

Last night, Ireland had one of the most restrictive abortion regimes anywhere in the Western world.
