A section of the M50 has reopened after a multi vehicle collision this afternoon.

Emergency services arrived at the scene of the collision, which occurred on the M50 southbound between Junction five near Finglas and Junction six near Blanchardstown, after 4pm.

Motorists experienced delays as a section of the motorway was reduced to one lane as the collision blocked the right and middle lane.
