Siobhan is well rung indeed on the property ladder
LOCATION, location, location. Years ago, you had to be in the right place at the right time if you wanted to bump into gorgeous Irish supermodel Siobhan McClafferty.
Lillies. Renards. The Pod.
These days, Siobhan has changed career but has retained her love of location. The gorgeous Irish supermother and former Miss Ireland has built up an impressive property portfolio.
She is just completing the final details of her sixth property investment, a three-bedroom house on the north side of Dublin.
She already has one in Malahide Marina, two in Swords, two in Dublin city centre, and one in Australia.
She is currently on holiday in Lanzarote with her three-year-old daughter Lauren, and will fly to New York at the end of February to finalise a new business plan.
"It's exciting times," she said. "I'm here in the baby pool with Lauren splashing our toes about in the water."
I'm betting it won't be long before Lauren is dipping her toes in the property market. Siobhan's mother Madeleine bought two apartments in Marbella last year, one of which she has already sold for more than 100 grand profit.
Doubtless mum got a little advice from her youngest daughter, 31-year-old Martina McClafferty, whose company in Dublin, Andalusian Dream Homes, is doing brisk business selling homes in Espana.
Her sister, 36-year-old Jackie Haughey, runs a creche from her home in North Dublin. She and her husband Conor, son of CJ, have just bought a second home in Cork which they will spend this summer in with their two kids, Joseph and Cathal.
It all sounds like a Victorian novel to me. Life, love and property.
