There were some surprises, girl-group franchise Sugababes (who now have no original members) were placed ahead of both Elton John and Elvis Presley.
An earlier chart also revealed a surprising result for the most played pop recording of the past 75 years -- Procol Harum's '60s classic 'A Whiter Shade of Pale'.
