You don't have to wait for the January sales to nab a travel bargain. Here are six of the best offers available this week.

Kids fly free

Click&Go.com has a ‘Kids Fly Free’ promo saving up to €300 per family on flights to the Algarve, Majorca, Salou, Costa del Sol and Lanzarote. The offer is available until December 15 for holidays departing May to September 2018. One free children’s flight is available per booking (with two adult fares), and it must be redeemed over the phone (01 906-9551). You can also book Clickandgo.com holidays with a €1 deposit.

10pc free on travel vouchers

Most Irish travel agents and tour operators do vouchers, but call ahead to see who's doing pre-Christmas incentives. Sunway (sunway.ie), for example, will add a free 10pc to the value of gift vouchers. E.g. buy €100, get €110.

Book a 'Twixmas' break

Did you know Ryanair does package holidays now? It has flights from €9.99 on sale, but packages start from €99pp for two nights in Barcelona, Paris and Rome in Janaury. Travel is midweek, based on 3-star hotels. holidays.ryanair.com.
