Ryanair adds six extra flights for Ireland v Wales World Cup Qualifier

Ryanair is scheduling six extra flights for the Republic of Ireland's crunch World Cup qualifier against Wales this October.

Three special flights will depart Dublin on October 8 and 9, with three returning from Cardiff on October 10, the airline has announced.

The additional flights come on foot of "incredible demand from Irish football fans," according to Ryanair. The World Cup 2018 qualifier takes place against Wales in Cardiff at 19.45pm on Monday, October 9.

The extra flights are scheduled to depart Dublin at 16.05 on Sunday, October 8 and at 06.55 and 12.35 on Monday, October 9. 

Return flights are scheduled from Cardiff from 9.40, 15.15 and 16.15 on Tuesday, October 10.

“After the rugby team were slayed by the dragons last week, the nation’s hopes rest with the soccer Boys in Green," said Robin Kiely, Ryanair's Head of Communications. "We are pleased to add even more extra flights for the big match in Cardiff."
