make your home a holiday
If you've got a holiday home to let, now's the time to cash in on what the travel trade is calling a bookings boom from Britain.
Hogans Cottages say they will have to put the 'full sign' up in August unless they sign up more properties fast.
The company works with the owners of almost 700 holiday cottages across the country, but their bookings have almost doubled.

CAR HIRE hikes
Families with young children hiring a car on the Continent this summer face extra fees of up to €500.
Ryanair-style pricing, where add-on fees bump up the basic rate, is causing rental costs to soar. An extra driver can cost €12 a day, while child seats can cost more than €60 for a fortnight.
Buy insurance before you travel, bring your own booster seats and satnav, and check if you have to fill the tank before you return your car.
