'People ask if the video is real' - Visitors flock to the Causeway for a glimpse of snoring giant Finn McCool

Giant Finn McCool has been caught on camera for the first time in Northern Ireland by a lucky passer-by.

Incredible footage taken on a mobile phone on Tuesday 10 November has been released to the public.

Visitors have flocked to the popular National Trust location at Bushmills to see if they can catch a glimpse of the giant.

John Higgins, Learning and Visitor Experience Supervisor at the Giant’s Causeway was there when Finn McCool closed his door, he said: “It is absolutely incredible, I’ve visitors from all over the place coming up and asking me is this real and what is going on”

“Nobody knows if or when we will see him again, but I would like to think we would see him this time of Christmas, I don’t know about you, but I would like my presents,” John added.

Loud snoring can be heard coming from the Giant’s Causeway, so I don’t think Finn McCool will be out of bed anytime soon, but you never know.
