READERS of have been having their say on whether obese plane passengers should have to buy an extra seat.

They were reacting to the story of an Italian man who is suing Emirates airlines after he was seated beside an obese passenger for a nine hour flight.

He complained to the airline that he had to 'endure the man's overspill' during the flight.
