Easter is almost upon us, and it's not too late to book a holiday... thanks to several last minute airline sales.

This morning, Ryanair launched a sale on 900 routes from €19.99. Travel is for April and May, but the fares must be booked before Tuesday, April 18.

What's on offer? As we publish, flights are available from Dublin to Mallorca, Warsaw and Cologne among other destinations at €19.99, with flights to the UK from as little as €9.99. Vigo in Spain is available from €14.99, while Faro starts from €42.99.

As ever, the more flexible your dates, the better deal you'll find.

Over in Iceland, meanwhile, WOW air (wowair.ie) is offering one-way fares from Dublin and Cork to Iceland from €69.99 and transatlantic options from €159.99.  Its Cork services are scheduled for take-off on May 19.

Norwegian (norwegian.com) has also launched a sale offering 15pc off its forthcoming USA routes from Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Belfast.

Savvy savers can nab discounts to Providence Airport and Stewart International for travel from July to December 14, using the code EASTER2017IE.

The sale runs to 11pm Sunday, and is based on net fares (i.e. excluding taxes and charges) - with prices currently available from around €117 each-way.

Aer Lingus (aerlingus.com) is also running an Easter offer - it's got sale fares to European destinations from €24.99, for travel between May and June. The low price is for London, with other deals including Amsterdam (€29.99), Faro (€44.99) and Malaga (€49.99).

Our tip? Just don't forget to factor in rising baggage charges.
