The details

How does it work?

To enter our Reader Travel Awards 2022, simply enter your nominations in each category here, together with any comments on your picks, and send them on. That’s it! Entries are free and open to all readers in Ireland and overseas. Complete at least 10 categories, and you’ll be entered into a draw to win one of eight great travel prizes.

What’s the entry period?

We’re taking entries from today, October 16, until midnight on Sunday, November 7. At that stage, the top nominees will be tallied and our expert judging panel will adjudicate on our readers’ shortlist — choosing the final winners and runners-up from your favourites.

When will the winners be announced?

The final lists of winners and runners-up will be published here on and in Weekend magazine on Saturday, January 16.

I’m in the tourism business... how can I get nominated?

You can, of course, nominate your own business, but make sure to ask your customers, family and friends to nominate you too (they must, however, fill out at least 10 categories). The top nominations go before the judges, who will vet them and make the final decision.
