Irish skiers can now take the train to the slopes of Austria from London. A new rail-inclusive ski package takes travellers by Eurostar to Paris and onwards by City Night Line sleeper train to Wörgl station, a short taxi ride to the Tirol resorts of Alpbach, Hopfgarten and Söll.

The packages include rail travel at preferential rates in a joint venture between tour operators and Deutsche Bahn.

Children under 15, if travelling with a parent or grandparent, pay ¤20 each way on the City Night Line, plus their Eurostar fare.
