Budva old Town
Dripping with history, lived in and real. This is a bit like the walled town of Dubrovnik, in Croatia, but not nearly as commercialised. Get up on the turrets and take in the view and try to imagine what it must have been like when these were real battlements repelling
invaders. Lots of boutiques and good value restaurants, too.
A few kilometres up the coast you'll find a town that boasts some of the best beaches on the Montenegrin Adriatic. Though less fashionable than Budva, it tends to be more family focused. A cheap, frequent and reliable bus service makes this resort very accessible.
Little more than a series of small coves, it's only a stroll away from Budva. It can be reached by a boardwalk and is a great place to people watch. The sea, of course, is delicious too and a range of reasonably priced water sports are on offer.
