My mum, Kate. She is the strongest, kindest, most talented women I have ever met. I have never known someone to be more giving of themselves. I am so incredibly lucky to have her, and I love her dearly. She also is the most fantastic cook - mammy dinners are the best!
I used to go to Clogherhead in Co Louth for my summer holidays. Packing up the car in Dublin was such an exciting feeling! We had a house by the beach, and I remember running around in my bare feet, jumping off hay bales, and going for endless swims. I met some of my very best friends there. It is a very special place.
The moment of the day
Sipping a cup of tea first thing in the morning - in bed, of course - and reading the news headlines; it sets me up well for the day ahead!
Summer Wind by Frank Sinatra. My dad always used to sing it at dinner parties. The My Way album was always on in his car. I absolutely love it.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. It's an absolute classic. Steve Martin and Michael Caine up to no good in the French Riviera - what more could you want?
Any Roald Dahl book. I remember so vividly my dad reading Charlie and The Chocolate Factory to me when I was little. They were such amazing books, my imagination would just take me straight into whatever world he had created.
My dad, Jay. He sadly passed away from motor neurone disease four years ago. He was the life and soul of the party and completely lit up the room when he walked in. He loved a good cheesy dad-joke, and, like my mum, he was incredibly generous, and was always thinking about others. He dealt with his illness with such grace and dignity, and never complained. He is, without doubt, and forever will be, my hero.
You can't go wrong with a good leather jacket, skinny jeans and boots. I've been taught to invest well and buy one quality item rather than lots of smaller bits.
Earrings. I feel naked if I leave the house without them. Gold hoops are my favourite. Or a good neck scarf. I sometimes steal my mum's; she has a fantastic collection!
I would say probably my laptop. I would love a week without my phone. Social media can get very tiresome. A detox now and again is needed.
Any rooftop bar will do me just fine! I spent the summer in NYC a couple of years ago, the rooftop bars there are absolutely amazing. Mr Purple and The William Vale are two of my favourites.
The piece of advice
My dad loved an old Chinese proverb which said: "If your problem has a solution, then why worry about it? If your problem doesn't have a solution, then why worry about it?" It has stuck with me throughout my adult life.
I went to Lisbon last year to sing backing vocals for Ryan O'Shaughnessy at the Eurovision. I had never been to Lisbon before, and was blown away by the city. The food was absolutely amazing, as was the architecture, and the people were so friendly. A particular highlight was visiting Sintra, which is just outside the city, and is a Unesco World Heritage site. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Also, the Eurovision itself was just a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I made friends for life during it, and I was so privileged to have been asked to be a part of it. I can't wait to go back!
The pet hate
Being self-centred. There is honestly nothing worse than someone who is not considerate of those around them.
My boyfriend, Charlie, is my best friend. We have just moved in together, and it's great! He is an amazing person, and, honestly, there are very few times in the day when he doesn't have me laughing or smiling. We are two peas in a pod, and I adore him. I am also incredibly lucky to have five best girlfriends who are absolutely amazing human beings. I don't know what I would do without them - you know who you are, ladies!
The beauty product
My Shiseido Waso Fresh Jelly Lotion. I put on this hydrating, anti-imflammatory lotion first thing in the morning, and right before bed, and it's so gorgeous on the skin. It's really moisturising, and it would be great on a sun holiday, too!
