Style Notebook... Get the Look: Sarah Greene
Actress Sarah Greene's star is firmly in the ascent, as is her style-icon status. Last year, we saw The Guard star give some very good red carpet, but this decidedly more laid-back get-up proves, yet again, that here is a woman hitting her style stride.
Nailing the dressy-casual look can be much trickier than straight-up formal wear. We love an oversized blazer, and Sarah's works perfectly with the streamlined trousers and leg-elongating pointed boots. Keeping the details simple - a slouchy tucked-in tee, swept-back hair and delicate jewellery - make for a nicely understated, but undeniably chic look.
I have a family wedding at the end of March and am looking for a dress. I was thinking of a midi dress with a full skirt. My budget is €150-€200. I am 42, five feet four inches tall, and a size 12. Would you have any suggestions or recommendations for boutiques in the Munster region?
The classic tea-dress shape is always a lovely option for a wedding. Irish label Fee G has done this style in a number of colours and patterns this season for around €220. See feeg.ie for stockists, of which there are a number in Munster. We also recommend you try the G Boutique, see thegboutique.ie; and O'Donnell Boutique, see codonnell.ie, both in Limerick. The latter has a gorgeous label called Lily that could have some lovely options for you.
