The Blas na hÉireann/Irish Food Awards have taken place in Dingle, and medals were awarded to the best of Irish produce.
ldi scooped 12 awards for their products. Their five gold medallists include Nature's Isle Specially Selected Angus Fillet Steak, produced by AIBP Nenagh, and Killeigh Farm Luxury Irish Caramel Fudge Ice Cream produced by Silverpail Dairy in Cork.
SuperValu won seven awards for their own brand products, including a gold for their Dry Cure Bacon made by Carty Meats, and are offering 25% off their award-winners until Saturday.
Lidl got a gold in the dairy category for their Delux Irish Premium Devon Toffee yoghurt made by Irish Yoghurt as well as getting another gold medal and two bronzes.
Tesco won a silver for their Tesco Finest Chorizo sausages and a bronze for their cocktail sausages, while Superquinn won a silver medal for their own brand mince pies.
