Taxi or hackney drivers can refuse to take you in the following situations:



  • Where journeys are greater than 30km.
  • If you consume food or drink in the vehicle.
  • They can refuse to carry or continue to carry you if you are acting in a disorderly, abusive or offensive manner.
  • They can refuse to carry or continue to carry you if you are likely to soil or damage the vehicle.
