Need to know what's hot on your hands this summer? Our expert, Triona McCarthy, has the guide to the season's talon trends
If you only buy one make-up item this summer, make it this Lancome X Chiara Ferragni Flirting Palette, below, €70. It's the star of the Chiara Ferragni's collection for Lancome.
Get glowing skin with this glowing palette all summer long and, yes, all of the colours are totally wearable.
In it, you'll find four lipsticks, four eyeshadows, one blush, three highlighters and a lipgloss.
I'm already planning on purchasing my next one!
Rathmines is the place to be these days. Not only are there fab restaurants opening at every corner (hello, Elephant & Castle) and chic boutiques (hiya, Beautiful South) but now that I've discovered L'Ombre in Rathmines's Swan Centre, I might never leave!
L'Ombre is a one-stop shop, doing everything from haircuts, colour, and blow-dries, to mains and pedis, make-up, tan, facials, massage - and, not forgetting the boys, barbering.
I bounced out of the place like a new woman, full of high-octane energy, just like Miley Cyrus, pictured above!

Gucci Westman - now there's a name - has finally brought out her own range, Westman Atelier, and I love it nearly as much as I love her distinctive name.
I met the renowned MUA when she was artistic director with Revlon and Lancome, so I know how much she loves skincare as well, and she's made sure to add lots of active ingredients to her own range.
I also love how the range is mostly stick-based, so the products are very portable, and easy to apply just with your fingers. Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in Petal, above, €54, can be worn on your cheeks, lids and lips, and contains vitis vita grape extract, ayurvedic oils and hyaluronic acid.
When I am finally crowned Kween, I want to gift all my peeps a La Roche-Posay My Skin Track UV, below, €64.95!
This very clever, wearable sensor measures your exposure to UV light, pollution, pollen and humidity, and records it all in the companion app that you download to your smartphone.
A revolution in skincare technology, it gives relevant and real-time warnings and advice to keep your skin healthy. Available from apple.com.
Need a lie-in? Instead of taking time to wash your hair, use dry shampoo the night before. This will ensure it blends in with your hair and looks fresh, not powdery. Na-night!
Triona’s top trends
I always take my nails up a notch in summer. When I'm wearing fewer layers of clothes, I love to use my fingers as an extra accessory!
CARE: Well-groomed nails will never go out of style, so try a CND Care Pen, €14.95 each. These cult classics come in a handy, easy-to-use, pen form; RescueRxx is repairing and conditioning; and Solar Oil is mosturising and conditioning.
SHAPE: My favourite nail shape is squoval (basically square, but oval at the corners), but this year's hottest nail shape is almond! The nut-inspired shape is a narrower versh of the oval trend, and it is much more chic than last season's coffin trend.
WHITE: Tippex-ed nails are a thing as well! YSL La Laque Couture, €26, is delightful for that Khloe Kardashian vibe.
GLITTER: At Armani and Anna Sui, glitter made an appearance on the nails. Try Nails Inc The Future is Fairy Duo Kit, €15. You can wear the polishes alone or together. Don't Give a Flutter is a soft pink with a pearlescent shimmer; while Fairy Freckles is a clear pink base, with delicate pieces of crushed iridescent jewels.
RAINBOW: This trend is all over Instagram at the mo! Why choose one colour when you can have them all? Mini, my four-year-old manicurist, is a fan.
NUDE: Find a nude polish that perfectly matches your skin tone - whether that's a pale pink or a cappuccino hue - and it will make your fingers look much longer. Chanel Le Vernis in Afterglow, below, €25, is, eh, hands down, my go-to colour of the season, for a super sophisticated look.
