My Pet: Tipperary fan with the waggiest tale
I think my dog Bonnie is the most lovable dog in the world. I've had her for ages - I got her on July 25, 2013.
Although we bought her in Kilkenny she has become a loyal Tipperary fan - and she even has her own jersey.
Ever since Bonnie arrived she has taken over the house - she now sits in an armchair by the fire and sleeps on her back with her feet up in the air.
When we got her first, Mammy and Daddy set the clock to check on her at night to make sure she wasn't too lonely. That was very nice of them.
Bonnie is a very smart dog and was trained in no time. When we first got her I had a cat called Stripes and they used to have such fun playing together. Stripes used to tease Bonnie and they would play chase. Sadly Stripes got killed on the road.
Bonnie is a house dog and so when we are all gone off to work or school we leave her toys to play with and we leave the radio on.
As I'm an only child I love having Bonnie to play with. She waits for me to come in from school and barks and jumps up for cuddles. All of my friends and family love Bonnie and although my two cousins now have cavachons, I still think Bonnie is the cutest!
When we brought her home we wanted to pick a name that would suit her, so we checked the internet for names and then picked Bonnie. She really is Bonnie with her big brown eyes and little stubby nose.
Bonnie is like all girls - she loves being pampered, and we always have her smelling lovely with a little bow on her collar.
Before we got Bonnie, Mammy was afraid of dogs but now she loves when we go for walks with Bonnie and she isn't as afraid.
Sometimes when we meet a big dog Bonnie starts barking and pretends to be very brave.
I love my pet Bonnie and would be lost without her, and when she's sitting on my lap asleep it's a great excuse when Mammy or Daddy call me to do some housework.
I can't imagine life without Bonnie and we all love her very much.
