My Pet: Chilli, the happiest dog in the world
Scarlett Skye Solorzano (age nine), Castleknock, Dublin 15
I'm going to tell you about the happiest little dog in the world.
Her name is Chilli the French Bulldog. We got Chilli from a rescue charity - she was being used for breeding as her pups sell for loads of money.
If she hadn't been rescued, she'd probably still be having litter after litter of pups and would have never got to live with a family.
Chilli settled in fast. She loves our other Frenchie Boo and our cat Scout. Chilli is very loving, she always has a smile on her face.
When she walks down the street, she turns heads as she bounces along in excitement.
When Chilli sees another dog, she gets so excited that she talks.
You don't believe me, do you? But you should hear her, it's a noise like no other dog can make. People turn round to see what the unusual sound is.
When they see that it's coming from a little, fat dog, they burst out laughing.
Chilli is always so happy she makes everyone around her happy, too.
Chilli loves nothing better then to groom Boo and Scout by licking them for hours until they just can't take any more.
My sister Clementine and I like to dress Chilli up. Sometimes we even put her in our dolls pram dressed as a baby and wheel her around. She loves that.
She also loves her walks, and she loves meeting other dogs, but I think she likes meeting people more, especially children.
Her legs are too short to go up the stairs so she needs help but she flings herself down the stairs, usually flying into the wall at the bottom. She used to have a wobbly tooth that stuck out and made her look even more comical but it fell out and I can't find it anywhere. I hope she didn't swallow it.
Some people say she has a face only a mother can love, but I think she's the cutest dog ever.
We got Chilli when she was four and now she's five, so we have had her for only a year but we can't imagine life without her being right in the middle of it.
Finest hour: Every time a doorbell rings on the TV she runs around the house barking with excitement
Likes: Walking to my school every morning as she gets lots of hugs and pets from all the kids at the gate
Dislikes: Being left at home
