OH, TO be a successful sports star: Toyota Ireland has added Jonathan Sexton to its portfolio of brand ambassadors. Jonathan joins Paul O'Connell, Katie Taylor, Fionnuala Britton and Micheal O'Muirchertaigh. Toyota is also the official car partner to the Dublin senior football and hurling teams as well as Cricket Ireland.

Sexton, an icon of Irish rugby, whose successes include a Six Nations title, three Heineken Cup medals and an Amlin Cup medal, will enjoy the quality and comfort of the Toyota brand with a new Toyota Land Cruiser Business Class, which he will keep for driving when home in Ireland.

Speaking about the partnership, Steve Tormey, deputy managing director, Toyota Ireland, said: "We are really thrilled that Jonathan, who already drives Toyota in France, has re-affirmed his satisfaction and commitment to the brand by choosing to drive Toyota during his time here in Ireland.

"Toyota's partnership with and support of great Irish sports personalities is already well established and we look forward to Jonathan being part of this family."

Speaking at Toyota Ireland HQ as he picked up the keys to his Land Cruiser, Sexton said; "I drive a Toyota in Paris and it's been fantastic for me. Having the opportunity to drive the Land Cruiser while I am here in Ireland is great and I am looking forward to continuing my association with Toyota over the coming years."
