Seven new Alfas in the pipeline
FIAT will roll out seven new Alfa Romeo models, according to reports.
Alfa will unveil a convertible Spider by 2016 and then there will be saloon and estate versions of new cars called the Giulia and Alfetta in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
The reports, in 'AutoBild', say the Giulia saloon – effectively a replacement for the 159 – will compete with the BMW 3 series, while the Alfetta would be a rival for the BMW 5 series.
Also planned are a compact and large crossover sport utility for 2017 and 2018, respectively.
The current front-wheel drive MiTo and Giulietta hatches will not be replaced, 'AutoBild' said.
