Range Rover - now they're making a motoring giant even bigger
IT'S one of the biggest around but Land Rover are going to bring out an even longer Range Rover.
It debuts at the LA Auto Show on November 20 and goes on sale next March.
No word on prices yet but it will certainly cost more than the current €119,355 starting price.
The longer wheelbase version (5.2 metres) – the first from the marque in 20 years – gives rear-seat passengers an extra 140mm of legroom.
That equips it better to take on the battle for buyers of limousines from Bentley and Mercedes.
However, to get it you have to order it in 'Autobiography' trim or the new 'Autobiography Black' model – new grille and side vents and choice of 21ins or 22ins polished wheels.
In the cabin, 'Autobiography Black' gives you special seat cover designs and 'executive class' seating for those in the back, a redesigned centre console, electrically deployable tables, a chiller compartment and two 10.2ins screens for your entertainment.
The seats also have a massage function and you can adjust them in 18 different ways.
The 'Autobiography Black' Edition will be unveiled at the Dubai International Motor Show next week and goes on sale in August.
