Peugeot has just announced prices and equipment levels for its new 3008 HYbrid4.
The privilege of owning the world's first diesel electric hybrid will cost you from €36,995 (dealer delivery related charges extra).
While it doesn't go on sale until April, it will be in dealerships next month and they are taking pre-orders.
The new car can develop up to 200bhp and you can set it in four modes: automatic, all-electric Zero Emissions, Sport and 4WD. Peugeot claim up to 3.8 litres/100km (74mpg).
The 2.0 HDi (200bhp) emits 99g/km (Band A, €160 a year), costs from €36,995 and standard equipment will include: bi-zone air con, cruise control plus speed limiter, 16in alloys, automatic headlights and wipers, electric windows, rear parking sensors, bluetooth and USB connectivity.
The other version (104g/km, €160-a-year road tax) starts at €38,695.
It adds a two-screen video pack, side rear sunblinds, head-up display with distance alert, 17in alloys, sat nav, electric folding mirrors and a folding front passenger seat.
Prices include the Government's €1,500 rebate up to the end of the year.
