New wave of Nissan favourites
Nissan has brought in a number of new versions.
Their Micra DIG-S has a 1.2-litre engine and its standard equipment includes air con, cruise control, heated door mirrors, panoramic glass roof, 15in alloys, and fog lamps.
Nissan says emissions are down from 115 g/km to just 99 g/km despite power going up from 80bhp to 98bhp. It costs €15,095 ex-works.
Then there is the Juke N-Tec, which has Nissan's latest satnav system.
It has a 5.8in touch-screen display and includes 'exit view' with lane guidance to help when leaving highways.
There is an 'over-speed' warning that alerts you when you hit a certain speed above the limit. A reverse camera with colour display, front fog and automatic climate control are also standard. Prices from €21,495 ex-works.
The popular Qashqai range has also been upgraded (from SV to SV+), which now has 18in alloys and silver roof rails. Prices start from €25,245, which Nissan says is €800 less than the SV.
The range-topping version has Qashqai 360 with Around View Monitor (AVM). This gives you a 360-degree bird's eye view of the parking area.
Finally, they are pushing the Juke Nismo with its motorsport engineering – the 1.6-litre DIG-T engine develops 200bhp. It comes as a manual 2WD or All-Mode 4X4i CVT. Prices for the 2WD start at €29,675 with the €33,375 for the All-Mode.
