I got a fright pulling away from the M6 toll booth the other day. And so did two or three others. We were all converging from wide-out booths on to the two lanes that lead to the golden midlands. Only we (I) didn't realise how close we all were.
After a fair degree of honking horns, flashing lights and realisation that at least two of us were in the wrong (hands up), we went our separate ways safely.
Lesson learned: you need to be extra careful rejoining the narrower road after a busy toll booth. Some could do with slowing down for the first 50-80 metres, too.
