My review last week of the Renault Twizy over the streets of Dublin prompted quite a response. Among them was a question I had asked but didn't do so in time for last week – is there a delivery charge and if so how much?

Renault here told me: "Delivery remains the same as the rest of the range at maximum recommended delivery charge of €700."

Which to my way of reckoning means the Twizy with windows and doors could cost €12,495 (€9,995 cost), plus €800 for doors and windows, plus delivery.

Nissan to blaze X-Trail with its latest off-roader

Nissan have teased us with a first official 'image' of its new X-Trail.

Of course they will show it off at next week's Frankfurt motor show with arrival expected for New Year sales. Expect it to have noticeably better handling and ride for the tarmac.
