Feast your eyes on the fastest Fiesta ever made
The all-new ST has a 0-100 of just under 7 seconds and a top speed of 220kp.
Astounding considering all of this grunt comes from the tiny 1.6 litre, EcoBoost petrol engine - delivering a savage 180bhp.
Ford boffins have tuned this little pocket rocket to within an inch of its life with major tweaks to the gearbox, suspension, steering and brakes.
The driving dynamics has been boosted by the introducing enhanced Torque Vectoring Control and 3-mode Electronic Stability Control
It’s also the most efficient hot hatch from the Blue Oval badge with a Tax Band B2 rating (with 138 g/km CO2 ) meaning annual road tax of just €225 while returning 45mpg or 5.9 l/100 km.
In fact, the new offering has 20 per cent fewer CO2 emissions but 20 per cent more power compared to previous generation Fiesta ST
It’s the sexiest looking too with large mesh grille emblazoned with the iconic ST badge.
Inside the race car design continues with Recaro bucket seats, and a new Sound Symposer which channels the engine note to the cabin to ensure the distinctive engine roar is integral to the driving experience.
The new Fiesta ST will arrive in Ireland during April and will be available in two versions: Fiesta ST1 and Fiesta ST2.
Specification for Fiesta ST1 will feature: unique 17" alloys; ST design body styling kit; ST rear spoiler; Recaro sport front seats with fabric trim; leather-trimmed ST steering wheel and gearshift lever with red-stitching; larger front and rear disc brakes; specially tuned ST suspension with 15mm lowered ride height; Ford SYNC; MyKey technology; ESP; and 7 airbags.
Fiesta ST2 adds the following specification: LED daytime running lights; Recaro sport front seats with partial leather trim; SONY CD + Ford SYNC; manual A/C; privacy glass; and push button start.
The ST1 costs €25,760 while the ST2 is €27,260
