Latest Porsche raises roof
PORSCHE has taken the wraps off the new 911 Turbo and Turbo S cabriolets.
They will debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November.
They follow the recent 911 Turbo and Turbo S coupe with a body that 28mm wider than any current 911 models.
The revised fabric roof has a lightweight magnesium frame with an open/close time of 13 seconds.
Powering the new motors is a heavily tweaked turbocharged version of the brand's 3.8-litre flat six petrol. It develops 513bhp in the Turbo and 552bhp in the S.
Expect 0-100kmh times in the region of 3.5sec and 3.2sec respectively. Top speed? A hugely illegal 320kmh.
