Gussen new head of Audi Ireland

Christian Gussen has been appointed as the new head of Audi Ireland.

He starts his new job in the middle of April and takes over from Andrew Doyle, who is now managing director of Audi Australia. Mr Gussen has worked, among other things, as sales manager for Europe before moving to Italy, where he was most recently head of marketing.

Renault has 'only' five-year warranty

Renault is now claiming to be the only manufacturer to offer a five-year unlimited mileage warranty across its passenger cars and vans.

Audi produces landmark quattro

The five millionth Audi with a quattro drive system has just rolled off the production line. A white A6 allroad 3.0 TDI marked the occasion.

Hogans is new Renault dealer

Hogan Motors in Ennis, Co Clare has become a new Renault dealer. The well-known dealership has been in the business for more than 37 years.

The business is run by dealer principal Paul Hogan and his wife Mary and will employ 14 people.

This is Renault's third new dealership coming, as it does, in the wake of Michael Grant, Sandymount, Dublin and JJ Burke's in Ballinrobe, Co Mayo.
