Classic cars drive charity push at motor show

More than 1,200 vintage cars rolled in and parked up at Terenure College in a drive to raise cash for Crumlin Hospital.
Jaguars, Corvettes and Rolls Royces were just some of the multitude of vehicles on the display as the Irish Classic and Vintage Motor Show arrived in Dublin for its 24th year.
The show donates a percentage of its proceeds to different charities every year.
It raised €30,000 in 2014, and they're hoping to surpass that this year when they will be donating to the children's hospital in Crumlin as well as the Migraine Association of Ireland.
"There is no other show like it in the country. The car clubs are great supporting it," spokesman for the event, Pat Daly said. One classic car enthusiast, David Hamilton, from Co Down, had a tough choice on what car to bring with him - choosing an E-Type Series 3 Jaguar in the end.
"I have a TVR Chimaera, a Ford Mustang and a Rolls Royce two-door Coupe too," said Mr Hamilton.
Mr Daly says that plans are afoot to make next year's 25th anniversary event even bigger.
