Car will be on show this weekend at Bloom festival
Kia have announced spec and pricing for the new Niro plug-in which goes on sale here next month.
Prices for the PHEV model start at €38,500 but we won’t have details of the all-electric version until nearer its early autumn launch date.
The car is on show at this weekend’s Bord Bia Bloom festival in the Phoenix Park, Dublin.
The PHEV models are powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine while the electric car has a claimed 460km range. There will be 14 battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in the line-up by 2027.
It is 4,420mm long, 1,825mm wide, and up to 1,570mm tall. Taking in the 2,720mm wheelbase and a redesigned interior, there is more passenger and luggage room.
The K3 model will go on the market at €38,500, the higher spec K4 at €41,500.
Standard spec for the K3 includes 18ins alloys, LED headlights, heated front seats, a 10.25ins touchscreen navigation, wireless phone charger and voice control.
