We are considering changing to a seven-seater due to expanding family. I currently own a Rover 45, year 2005, approx 60,000 miles on the clock. Our budget is €15,000. We are looking for the best place to finance, be it a bank or garage.
Aidan: Values for the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso have been moderated by imports, so your money will go furthest with one of them. Get a VTR+ model. Borrow from whoever offers the best rate. Try your dealer, the bank you have your personal accounts with and your local credit union.
It's seems as though it might have been a while since you last bought a car, so don't settle for getting one quote from a single source. Do your homework on the car and the source of the loan.
Eddie: Shop around on finance rates and car prices. On finance, be sure you understand all - I mean all - the implications. Take your time with it. Check out your local credit union as well as your bank. I'd agree with Aidan on the Citroen. Try an Opel Zafira, as well as a Ford S-MAX (or even Galaxy). With cars of that nature, you need to check vigorously for signs of wear and tear. Take your time - there are lots of cars out there and there is plenty of money to be loaned out.
