They have revised the colours and interior trim, is this the next Supra?

The FT-1 has been revealed twice, the first time it was red and looked like a cartoon but in this new colour there's far more subtleties from the angles. Developed by Calty Design Research in Newport Beach, California, the concept vehicle’s graphite exterior paint and light, saddle-colored leather went on display for the first time at the Gordon McCall’s Motorworks Revival gala held on California’s Monterey Peninsula.

This is Toyota getting back into sports cars, we know there's the GT86 but really that's a re-branded Subaru BRZ with some exterior tweaks. This FT-1 might signal a proper return to old form for Toyota because they used to make some fantastic sports cars like the 2000GT, Celica, Supra and the MR2.

The new interior for the FT-1 comes from the look and feel of the modern super-hero, yes you did read that correctly. The modern super-hero costume is different than the tights Batman used to wear so the car interior is functional and yet has a premium sporty feeling.

This September, two new versions of the FT-1 will be available for download virtually inside Gran Turismo 6 (GT6), the latest iteration of the best-selling racing franchise exclusively on PlayStation®3.
