AS of yesterday, Honda have made 300 million motorbikes.
A Gold Wing 40th anniversary edition, made at its Kumamoto factory, marked the milestone.
The first bike was made 65 years ago (1949) - it was a Dream Type-D. They started making bikes outside Japan in Belgium in 1963.
The company is currently making motorbikes at 33 plants in 22 countries. Last year it sold 16.8 million around the world - up 8.7pc on the previous year.
They claim the Super Cub is the "most-produced motorcycle in history". Production hit 87 million last March; it has been sold in more than 160 countries.
