Chinese marque unveils first car for our market
Chinese carmaker Chery, who is coming to Europe in the relatively near future, has released design sketches of its first SUV model for our markets.
The concept will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.
They say the compact SUV marks the start of their drive for European sales. They will start "within a few years" but under a different name.
And the as-yet-unnamed nameplate will sell hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles.
The company plans new design and R&D facilities in Europe. It has already sold more than 1.2 million vehicles overseas since its foundation in 1997.
