Audi's powerful SQ7 SUV due on market later in the year
Audi's hugely powerful SQ7 TDI (435hp) is due on the market later this year but we're told you can order one from the middle of this month.
The 4-litre TDI zips to 100kmh in just 4.8 seconds and manages 7.2-litres/100km. With emissions of 189g/km, road tax comes to €750 a year.
Audi say the 4.0 TDI has been redeveloped from the ground up with an electric powered compressor making its first appearance in a production vehicle.
This plays a key role with the two turbochargers, particularly at lower revs. And they have what they call 'electromechanical active roll stabilisation' (!!) to keep the car more upright on bends and reduce understeer.
Audi say LED headlights, adaptive air suspension with 'S-specific' settings, a larger 85-litre tank, heated sport seats in Alcantara and leather, 20ins wheels, etc., will be standard. But there will be lots of options too.
