Audi has just released the top-of-range pricing for its new Q8 flagship diesel SUV
Audi has just released the top-of-range pricing for its new Q8 flagship diesel SUV, which gets here later in the year.
The on-the-road price for the 286bhp 3.0TDI is €103,050, but it seems that we'll have to wait a while longer to get the entry-level figures.
It was previously reported that the starting tag would be around the €100,000 mark, but it is reasonable to assume now that the price will begin somewhere under the six-figure mark.
Audi's big rival for the BMW X6 can be ordered from the end of the month, in the countdown to delivery later this year, in the autumn.
The new Q8, which is a mix of 4dr coupé and large SUV, is 4.99m long, 2m wide and 1.71m tall.
That makes it wider, shorter and lower than the Q7 on which it is based.
Standard spec includes quattro all-wheel-drive and damper control.
There is also a 48-volt mild hybrid technology (MHEV) system.
