Birds-eye view: Two stunning cars of the future
Nissan's own 'Blade' is a runner
THIS is going to be made. Right now the Nissan BladeGlider small electric sports car is a concept, but the company says it is a big indication of what's coming down the line on the development of EVs.
The three-seater is being dubbed as 'anti-establishment' and it is scheduled for production within three years. The rear-drive car has already spawned a sort of pre-production 'mule' involved in the project.
The BladeGlider concept will be shown at the Tokyo Motor Show. And no, it won't really look like this when it is made. It will be toned down. A pity.
The lithium ion batteries are placed low and towards the rear.
The Cat is out of the bag on F-TYPE coupe
JAGUAR will reveal the non-bird's eye view of their F-TYPE Coupe J on November 19, the day before it makes its public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
They claim it will be the most "dynamically capable" Jaguar in history.
The hard-top version will go on sale next spring.
It hasn't yet been confirmed if it will have the same range of engines as the roadster (V6s diesels with either 335bhp, or 375bhp in the 'S' version, and 488bhp V8 petrol).
