THE Dublin bike scheme is a victim of its own success. Last Friday, like the rest of the week, I had to visit at least four stands on the Northside before I could get a bike to use for my short commute to work.
Plans to expand the service can't happen quickly enough and must be in place before the days get much brighter. That the service took off so much over the winter shows there is a real need for such good transport solutions that make the city centre better for all of us. CS
