If the latest batch of reality dating shows has told us anything, it's that some people will do anything to find the one.

Even strip down to nothing on the very first date in front of a production team.

In a new VH1 series, Dating Naked, lonesome contestants take their clothes off before heading on a date with a potential significant other.

Taking inspiration from Adam and Eve, the partakers in the first episode strolled across a idyllic beach before shaking hands for the first time, neither making a fuss about their painstakingly obvious lack of clothes.

In the first episode of the series, lucky 24-year old Joe  was commissioned for three naked dates, the first of which was with Christina (36), a woman who just came out of a 10-year-relationship.

The pair rolled around in a big ball in the ocean before tucking into a dinner on a picturesque balcony.

Joe's subsequent dates included a naked hammock cuddle, body painting and bird-watching in the nude.

With the recent airing of Married at First Sight, a FYI series where singles marry complete strangers, it seems reality TV is really making the most out of those eager for a ring on their finger, even if it does mean dating in the nip.
