Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf is this year's Gaiety Christmas panto and runs until January 10.

Legendary panto dame Joe Conlon, who celebrates his 26th year in the industry, will play Granny McGregor, and Hayley-Jo Murphy plays Little Red Riding Hood.

The National Concert Hall Christmas Concert will have actor Simon Delaney tell the story of James and the flying snowman at the same time as Raymond Briggs's film, The Snowman, is shown on a big screen. Howard Blake's score will be played live by the Orchestra of the National Concert Hall. Running Friday December 18 to Sunday December 20.


Set over 38 acres of a working farm in the village of Dundrum, Christmas at Airfield Estate is a magical time of year - giant nutcracker soldiers, twinkling lights, traditional Christmas decorations and a warm elf welcome. Santa's reindeers will also be there.


Tracks in the Snow has been commissioned and produced by The Ark as a high-quality festive music show for young audiences. Performed by The Henry Girls from Donegal, it celebrates things we like to do and see when the world turns white: from sledding to the wonder of the Aurora Borealis. Running until December 20.
