I Believe Christmas Village will continue at the Custom House Quarter - including George's Dock and The chq Building - until December 23.

A festival of food, drink, craft and horticulture, it has a massive Christmas tree donated by Coillte and inspired by the 82-year tradition behind the world-famous Rockefeller Tree in New York.

The Lassus Scholars and Piccolo Lasso, directed by Ite O'Donovan, will sing a Service of 9 Lessons and Carols in St Kevin's Church, Harrington Street, Dublin 8, at 3.30pm today.

The Lassus Scholars and Piccolo Lasso will be joined by members of The Orlando Chamber Orchestra in a performance of Mozart 'Coronation' Mass in C, on Christmas Day, at St Kevin's, at 12.00 noon.

Cinderella, a puppet show presented by Paula Lambert Puppet Theatre and featuring Bosco - the Lambert family has been involved with RTE working on the hugely popular series Wanderly Wagon featuring the late Eugene Lambert, and Paula Lambert was the voice of 'Bosco' on TV for 17 years - runs today at the Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire, 2pm & 4pm.

McVitie's Magical Wonderland at The City West Arena, City West Hotel, runs until January 3 with traditional family funfair rides, Bavarian style food stalls, Christmas crafts market - all surrounding a centrepiece 800 sqm real ice rink. You can also meet Santa, get a present and a framed photograph taken with the man himself.

Aladdin at the Everyman Theatre, Cork, has something for everyone - the beautiful Princess, (Niamh O'Mahony), the dashing Prince (Lee Matthews), the Baddie (Michael Sands) the overbearing Mammy, played by Ciaran Bermingham, and the Genie (Keith Hanley). Until January 10.
