VIDEO: Spoilt for choice in Kinsealy's Cooper's Wood for €585k
Cooper's Wood, Kinsealy, Co Dublin
The popular Northside coastline of Dublin has seen a proliferation of developments over the last year and the latest is Cooper's Wood, 38 three and four-bedroom family homes which come to market this month.
Built by Maybury Properties they are set in communal gardens of 2.2 acres with a playground, although each house also has its own garden. There are three main styles, with small variations.
The 'Linden' is the largest, a 1,528 sq ft four-bed detached priced at €585,000 of which two are available. The kitchen/dining room expands the width of the house to the rear with a sitting room at the front and a guest WC. Upstairs are four bedrooms, one ensuite and bathroom.
The 'Alder/Aspen' units are three-bedroom detached, and there is just one remaining. At 1,253 sq ft it has a similar layout and again, the main bed is ensuite. This is priced at €485,000.
The 'Beech/Birch' are three-bedroom semi-detached houses and there are five of these. They measure 1,206 sq ft internally and are constructed in a similar fashion, with the kitchen/dining room to the rear, leading to the back garden and a separate sitting room. These semis will cost €425,000.
All homes have A2/A3 BER ratings with photovoltaic solar panels and an A-rated condensing gas boiler with added insulation on pipes to keep uncontrolled heat outflows to a minimum.
Kitchens are by Nolans and include a range of Neff and Nordmende appliances and feature quartz-stone countertops. Wardrobes are by Cawleys and in the 'Shaker' style while attics have been fitted with Stira stairs for access. Bathrooms have Villeroy & Boch fittings.
Rear gardens have a patio and will be seeded. Exteriors are a light ochre brick with slate roofs and over-window detailing.
Cooper's Wood is 7km south of Kinsealy and for commuters, the Portmarnock DART station is 2km away. Viewings are this Saturday and Sunday, 12-2pm.
