These super modern townhouses are so sleek you might pass them by altogether. From the outside they look almost commercial in nature with their dark grey angular lines

The first thing to hit you is the long isosceles triangle into which the windows are set, the door tucked into the side. The stark three-sided exterior, however, leads into a comfortable three-bedroom, three-bathroom house over three floors and there are three identical units on offer.

Who says architects don't have a sense of humour?

Located between Synge Street and Camden Street, they are right bang in Dublin City Centre, so urban professionals would be the most likely tenant, however, they may well be snapped up by local businesses who need to cater for visiting executives, especially as there is more than one property.

To that end, the owner has engaged interior designer Belinda Rohan to fit them out in comfortable but plush neutrals.

From the hallway, there is a good kitchen, finished in cream gloss with hidden handles on units, and a full complement of appliances in chrome. The floor is fully tiled and there is decent storage with natural light supplied via a large window.

There is a utility room off this with a washer/dryer and guest WC. Also on this floor is the large living area. This has an unusual skylight feature on the roof and spotlights in the ceiling.

The wooden floor and furnishings are minimal and calm, and there is a dining table at the far end, with seating for six.

On the first floor is a double bedroom and main bathroom with full size bath. The second bedroom is here also, and may be configured as a home office as it has built-in storage and good light. Both have wooden floors.

The 'office' has a door out to the small terrace, which is decked and west-facing with some planting. You could put a small patio table and a couple of chairs out here to enjoy the evening sun. The top floor has the master bedroom which is very spacious with an ensuite bathroom. There is a dressing room here too with plenty of storage space.

Each unit has one parking space to the front (resident's permit required). If location is important to you, then St Stephen's Green is a 550m stroll with the Iveagh Gardens and National Concert Hall about the same.

With the Luas, bus lanes and Dublin Bikes, that pretty much gives you access to everywhere else you might want to go.
