Vesey Park, now part of the 200-acre Griffeen Valley Park in the former spa town of Lucan, was created on lands once owned by James Gandon, the English architect behind Dublin landmarks the Custom House and the Four Courts.
This heritage is recalled in the name of Gandon Park, a new development of three and four-bed family homes outside Gandon's adopted home village. Cairn Homes is building 230 properties at Gandon Park, which launched back in May.
A second phase of 20 houses is going on the market at the Lucan scheme this weekend. The three-beds range in size from 1,216 sq ft to 1,248 sq ft and are priced from €350,000, while the four-beds span between 1,474 sq ft and 1,496 sq ft and cost from €395,000.
The A-rated houses at are within walking distance of Adamstown train station, with the journey to Heuston Station taking about 22 minutes. While the N4 is just minutes away, providing access to the M50 motorway.
The showhouses will be on view from 2.30pm to 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.
