Three is the magic number at Limetree

Three homes are still up for grabs from the second phase at Limetree Hall, a development with pedestrian access to the mile-long tree-lined walkway that links the grounds of Carton House with the university town's centre.
The scheme of detached and semi-detached four and five-bed homes, built on a former paddocks on the Dublin Road, was launched in June, and was swiftly followed by a second phase to cater for demand. There will be 36 homes there in all when the development is completed, with a third phase scheduled to come on the market early next year.
Two of the remaining dwellings from the current tranche are five beds: one is a detached property measuring 1,770 sq ft from the Alder house type and costs from €495,000, while the second is a semi-detached version from the Oak style with 1,792 sq ft of space and a price-tag of €485,000. There has also been a cancellation on one of the houses from the Walnut type, namely a 1,306-sq ft four-bed detached home priced from €392,000.
The Alder and the Oak house types are each laid out over three floors, while the Walnut is a two-storey house type. The elevations vary, though all have a mix of rich brick and self-coloured maintenance-free render with aluminium-clad timber-frame windows from Carlson and silver granite windowsills.
The facades are complemented by cobble-locked front driveways flanked by feature planting.
The rear gardens have a paved patio with a tap and an external socket for barbecues. There is an abundance of common green areas throughout the development, and there are plans afoot to create a five-acre parkland.
The A2-rated homes are a few minutes' walk from the train station in Maynooth, where there is a frequent rail service to Dublin. Liffey Valley shopping centre is a 20-minute drive away, along the M4 motorway.
