In leafy Ballsbridge, Deerfield will launch in October. The scheme, located near the Merrion Road end of Sandymount Avenue, comprises just nine high-end homes, namely one and two-bed apartments, as well as a three-bed penthouse that occupies the entire top floor of the building. It is being developed by Agricula.

In Terenure, the final phase of penthouses and three-bed-plus-study houses at St Pancras will be released off the plans this weekend. Prices for this tranche of the Dublin 6W scheme start at €790,000.

In Donnybrook, Cairn Homes will launch Donnybrook Gardens at Greenfield Park. The scheme will consist of 86 dual-aspect two and three-bed apartments and penthouses, with the first phase comprising 20 units. The apartments will be divided among five architecturally-designed buildings and will be set on landscaped gardens. Cairn is building about 600 homes on land it bought in Donnybrook from RTE in 2017 for €107.5m.

In Blackrock, Prospect House in Barclay Court will be launched in December. The Carrickreagh Developments scheme will consist of 15 properties, namely three and four-bed houses and two-bed apartments.

Blackrock will also be the scene this month of the launch of Amberley, a series of two and three-bed duplexes and four-bed houses that are being developed by Pathville. The nine-unit scheme is located on a cul-de-sac off Stillorgan Grove.

Later this year, in Cabinteely, O'Flynn Group plans to release the first units of its Beechpark development, which will comprise three and four-bed houses, as well as one and two-bed apartments.

Like Cabinteely, Glenageary has experienced a dearth of new homes in recent years. However, Belgrove Homes is due to release 19 apartments and houses there this month, at a scheme called Feldberg. And in Churchtown the next 15 three and four-bed houses are due to go on the market at Hazelbrook Court this autumn.

In Monkstown, seven four-beds have gone on the market at a new scheme called Purbeck, with prices starting at €1.75m. In neighbouring Dún Laoghaire, five four-bed houses are selling at Royal Terrace North, where prices start at €1.55m. The latter scheme is being built by Montane Developments and Elmhill Homes.

In Rathfarnham, the final phase of three, four and five-bed homes has just gone on the market at White Pines. Prices range from €435,000 for a three-bed terraced home to €560,000 for a five-bed semi-detached property.

Rathfarnham is also the scene of Glinbury, a brand new scheme off Whitechapel Road and beside Grange Golf Club. The small development will consist of four and five-bed houses.

Also in Dún Laoghaire, buyers are teeing up for the second phase of Fairways, at the vast Cualanor development. Starting prices for the 15 homes will range from €805,000 for a four-bed-plus-study style to €885,000 for a five-bed. Near UCD, meanwhile, a new tranche of five apartments will go on sale at Ardilea Crescent in Clonskeagh, with two-bed apartments priced from €510,000 and three-bed penthouses starting at €800,000.

At the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, Homeland Projects, which specialises in converting period homes and constructing new-builds on their grounds, intends to launch Watson Place in Rathfarnham. The 15 new homes and three units set within the original Ballyroan House will go on sale off the plans by the end of the year, with a showhouse next summer.

In Sandyford, the Coshon Group will released the second phase of Dún Gaoithe, a 61-unit development at Aikens Village. Prices range from €474,500 for a three-bed home to €600,000 for a four-bed.

In Carrickmines, the second phase of Fairways will be released in October. About 30 homes will be available, while the entire scheme will consist of 75 units in total when it's completed.

The Grove, built by Durkan Estates on land beside Our Lady's Grove School in Goatstown, is selling four-bed houses, as is The Nurseries in Dundrum, where prices start at €815,000.

In Shankill, a brand new scheme of 16 family homes, called Eaton Brae, will be released in October. The three and four-bed terraced houses are being developed by Redblock Construction.
