Scheme's second phase near seaside town
Glenveagh Taylor Hill, Balbriggan, Co Dublin
The name of Glenveagh Taylor Hill, a new development in the north Co Dublin seaside town of Balbriggan, is a nod both to the Taylor family, who owned the town's Ardgillan Castle for more than 200 years, and to its developer, Glenveagh Properties.
The latter sold 20 homes after the scheme of two-, three- and four-bed homes began selling off the plans in February.
Showhouses will open this weekend to launch the second phase, with prices starting at €255,000 for a two-bed house.
Externally, each of the two-storey houses are finished in a mix of brick and render and come with two parking spaces.
Internal features include a contemporary-style kitchen with soft-close doors from Gallagher Kitchens, and an A-rated condensing gas boiler for the central heating system.
Commuters who buy at Glenveagh Taylor Hill can reach Dublin city centre by rail from Balbriggan's train station. The Millfield Shopping Centre, home to one of Europe's biggest Tesco stores, is a short walk away from the scheme while the M1 Retail Park is a 20-minute drive.
Viewings will be held tomorrow and Sunday, from 2pm to 4pm.
