Rathbeale Grove added to slew of new Swords developments
Rathbeale Grove, Swords, Co Dublin
Swords has seen a slew of new residential developments in the post-crash era, from the vast Millers Glen to Glebe Hill. The latest newcomer is Rathbeale Grove, off the eponymous Rathbeale Road.
Developed by Rockbridge Ltd, the north-east Dublin development of 12 two and three-bed semi-detached homes was launched last weekend, and a number are still for sale.
Prices start at €315,000 for a two-bed and at €355,000 for a three-bed version. The former measures 861 sq ft, while the latter has 990 sq ft of space.
The exteriors have facades with panels of Ibstock brick around the front bay windows, as well as uPVC triple-glazed windows. The energy efficient doors and windows are fitted with a triple-lock system. From the kitchen, large patio doors open onto a private rear garden.
The contemporary-style kitchens have soft-close doors and drawers, and an integrated fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher are fitted as standard. The bathrooms and ensuites come with tiling, sanitary ware, and bath screens or shower doors, as per the showhouse. The bedroom wardrobes are also contemporary in appearance, with a matt vinyl finish.
Other interior touches include oak flush doors with ironmongery finished in satin chrome, an oak handrail to the stairs, all walls painted in the "heaven's breath" shade, and a Stira stairs to a partly-floored attic.
The air-tight houses have an A3 BER, courtesy of features such as an A-rated gas condensing boiler for the central heating system and PV panels on the roof to generate additional electricity.
Swords, which has a population of 42,000, is a ten-minute drive from Dublin Airport and about 30 minutes from Dublin city centre.
The showhouses will be open from 2pm to 3pm tomorrow.
